Chef Tawana Gulley, Founder

Chef Gulley, motivated by a recent health discovery, launched Healthy Soul Meal Prep in 2019 to offer nutritious, delicious meals, while still being delicious and affordable. In 2023, she founded Healthy Soul Culinary Art Foundation, which provides culinary arts education to students, allowing her to extend her passion for healthy living to youth.

Majerle Thompson, Marketing Intern

As a marketing intern, she's been diving headfirst into the world of managing social media accounts, and it's been quite the ride. More than just posting content, she's learning the ropes of audience engagement, content strategy, and analytics. This experience is teaching her a lot about communication, time management, and problem-solving – skills she knows will be super valuable as she heads off to college.

Eric Kilbride, Board Chair

Eric Kilbride is a dedicated youth development advocate and community connector who cares deeply about his community, especially its young people. He first met Chef Gulley through a mutual friend while planning an event. Since then, Mr. Kilbride and Chef Gulley have collaborated on many projects, highlighting her talent and passion for empowering youth.

Torrie Hudson, Board Member

Torrie Hudson, is a photographer and visual storyteller with a deep commitment to connection, creativity, and community. His work spans brand storytelling, headshots, lifestyle, and culinary photography, with a focus on capturing the essence of people and experiences in an authentic way. Through his creative practice and consultations, he helps individuals and organizations reflect who they truly are and share it with clarity and heart.

Teddrick Hardy, Board Member

Teddrick “Tedd” Hardy is a community builder, entrepreneur, and creative based in Indianapolis. He is deeply committed to strengthening neighborhoods through wellness-focused programming, youth engagement, and relationship-driven leadership. Through his work across community organizations, events, and partnerships, Tedd focuses on creating spaces where people feel supported, connected, and empowered to grow.

Aje’Shna Payne, Board Member

Aje’Shna Payne has proudly supported her mother’s entrepreneurial journey from the very beginning. Through encouragement, dedication, and belief in her mother’s vision, she has been an important part of the business’s growth. Her loyalty and positivity reflect strong family values and a genuine passion for supporting success. She takes pride in being part of a journey built on hard work, resilience, and love.

Darius Jordan, Board Member

What began as a simple outreach for a culinary internship through Escoffier School of Culinary Arts quickly turned into something much more meaningful. After seeing the impact of the Healthy Soul Culinary Program firsthand, he recognized an opportunity to pour his knowledge and experience into the next generation.

He stepped in not just as a chef, but as a mentor and leader, bringing real-world culinary skills into the classroom and helping shape a hands-on learning environment for the youth. His passion for both food and community continues to strengthen the program, creating space for growth, creativity, and confidence in every student he works with.

As a board member, he remains committed to expanding access to culinary education and supporting the mission of Healthy Soul.
